How long have Fuckup Nights been running in Austria?
Since 2014. The very first Fuckup Night in Austria took place in Vienna in 2014, brought here by Dejan Stojanovic. We have run them independently ever since — in Vienna, Upper Austria, Carinthia, Lower Austria and soon Burgenland.
Who is behind Fuckup Nights Austria?
A team you can actually name, led by Mag. iur. Dejan Stojanovic — "The Failure Enthusiast" — together with The Failure Institute and an Advisory Board.
Are Fuckup Nights Austria the same as Fuckup Nights formats in other countries?
We're part of the global movement, but we organise and curate our events in Austria and the DACH region entirely independently. Your contact, the quality and the care behind it all sit right here, locally.
What happens at a Fuckup Night?
Three speakers, roughly ten minutes each, one real professional failure story — and, above all, the lessons they took away from it.
Where do the events take place and how do I get tickets?
All over Austria. You will find dates and tickets on our events page (ticketing usually runs via Eventbrite).
What does it cost to get in?
Nothing — entry to our public Fuckup Nights is free. No paywall, no VIP zones, no distance between stage and room. (Yes, that makes us fairly lonely out here.) The reason is simple: Fuckup Nights only work if everyone can walk in — not just the people who can, or want to, pay for a ticket. We love building bridges.
Can I book a private or corporate Fuckup Night?
Yes. Through The Failure Institute we offer corporate Fuckup Nights, keynotes and workshops — including speaker coaching, hosting and absolute confidentiality. An event enquiry is the fastest way to start.
Which formats do you offer?
Public Fuckup Nights, corporate Fuckup Nights, keynotes, workshops and surveys — all around failure culture and psychological safety.
